Persian FUNERAL PHOTOGRAPHY - Nottinghamshire

Persian Funeral Photography

A couple of weeks ago in Nottinghamshire, I had the profound privilege of being the chosen funeral photographer to document a heartfelt Persian Funeral for a lovely family. Just like the funeral I photographed at Westminster Cathedral, these clients appreciated my approach and storytelling style and wanted to capture every significant moment as a tribute to their loved one.

Starting at the Family Home

Funeral photography on the day began at the family's home, where emotions ran deep, and memories were cherished. It was here that friends and family gathered, sharing stories and reminiscing about old and recent memories. As I captured candid moments, I couldn't help but be moved by the love and support that filled the room, those little moments of grace and compassion as freinds and family hugged in support. As a Funeral Photographer, I think these intimate gatherings before the funeral begins often provide a unique insight into the life and character of the person being celebrated.

Moving to the Church: Beeston Cemetery Chapel

From the family home, we proceeded to the Beeston Cemetery Chapel, a place where the final chapter of this journey would begin. The chapel's serene surroundings provided a fitting backdrop for the service, where friends and family could come together to pay their last respects.

Inside the Chapel: A Service of Remembrance

The Beeston Cemetery Chapel holds its own unique charm, it was very cozy and every possible seat was filled. It's a place where moments of grief are shared, and the memories of a loved one are cherished. While I couldn't be too intrusive, I aimed to document the essence of the service as it unfolded.

Interment at Beeston Cemetery

Following the touching service at Beeston Cemetery Chapel, we moved in procession to the graveside within the same cemetery. The Hearse led the way, a symbol of the journey to the final resting place, and everyone followed in a solemn procession. Here, amidst the tranquil surroundings of the cemetery, family and friends gathered around the graveside to bid their final farewell. It was a time which was filled with a deep sense of closure.

Sweet Memories: Sharing Traditional Persian Delights After the Burial

After the burial had taken place, traditional Persian cakes and sweets were lovingly distributed to everyone in attendance. These delectable treats added a touch of sweetness to the day, offering a moment of comfort and connection as we remembered and celebrated a life well-lived. Very yummy indeed!

One of the Priviledges of being a Funeral Photographer:

One of the privileges I cherish as a funeral photographer is the opportunity to listen to stories about people's lives, the remarkable things they did and achieved. This Nottinghamshire funeral was no exception. As I documented the day, I couldn't help but be inspired by the tales of the impact the departed had on others. It's a reminder that each life is a unique story, and these stories deserve to be told and remembered.

Conclusion:

This Persian funeral in Nottingham was filled with some beautiful heartfelt moments captured as stills for the family to treasure forever, cherished moments, all carefully preserved through the art of funeral photography.
