Funeral Live Streaming, Photography & Videography in Birmingham | West Midlands
I'm Shaun, and I provide professional funeral live streaming, funeral photography and funeral videography across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands — in churches, crematoria, cemeteries, funeral homes and community venues across the city and surrounding areas.
Birmingham is one of the UK's most diverse cities, and the funerals I support here reflect that — from large Caribbean and African church services in Handsworth and Sparkbrook to Hindu and Sikh services in Edgbaston and Smethwick, Catholic services across the city centre, and traditional Anglican and non-denominational services across the suburbs. I arrive early, set everything up before guests arrive, and work closely with the funeral director throughout so the family can focus entirely on the day.
A Birmingham Connection — Benjamin Zephaniah, Handsworth
One of the most significant funerals I have had the privilege of covering was the natural burial of Benjamin Zephaniah— poet, activist, and one of Britain's most distinctive voices. Benjamin was born and grew up in Handsworth, Birmingham, which he described as the Jamaican capital of Europe. Though his burial took place elsewhere, his roots were entirely Birmingham — the dub poetry he performed in Handsworth churches and community centres in the 1970s launched one of the most remarkable literary careers of his generation.
His natural burial — with Jamaican drums, his own poems read aloud, and an open mic for those who loved him — was entirely in keeping with how he lived. Read the full case study here: The Natural Burial of Benjamin Zephaniah — Poet and Activist.
This example demonstrates how we provided our professional funeral live streaming services in Birmingham and across the UK.

Key Hill Cemetery and Warstone Lane Cemetery — historic Victorian cemeteries in the Jewellery Quarter
I also work at private and independent crematoriums across the West Midlands, and at natural burial grounds and woodland sites where families prefer a more environmentally-focused farewell.

Cultural and Community Experience in Birmingham
Birmingham is one of the most diverse cities in the UK, with long-established communities from many different backgrounds and faiths. I have experience providing funeral live streaming, photography and videography across:
Caribbean and African Pentecostal and Baptist church services — including gospel choirs, open coffins and extended multi-venue programmes
Muslim funeral services — working sensitively within requirements around filming and gender
Hindu and Sikh services — including outdoor ceremonies, cremation rites and multi-day observances
Catholic and Anglican services
Secular and humanist celebrations of life
Many Birmingham families have loved ones in the Caribbean, West Africa, South Asia, North America and Europe for whom funeral live streaming is the only way to be present in real time. I regularly stream to international audiences of hundreds of viewers across multiple countries and time zones — for more on how this works, see my guide to live streaming a graveside or outdoor funeral.
What One Family Said
"Shaun's service is second to none. Great coverage and beautiful details like the holding page and even including the order of service. Just took control of all the livestream elements so we didn't have to worry about anything."
